Original Item: Only One Available. These are WW2 issue Japanese army officer binoculars in their original tropical carry case, offered in good condition. The binoculars are fully functional, with each side having an independent focus control. Optics are mostly clear, and able to focus accurately. These bear a manufacturer's logo and serial number No. 49292. Overall condition is very good but there is heavy cracking in the barrel covering.
The case is of the painted canvas type, common for tropical use, and is in good condition, with the carrying strap and spring-loaded closure strap still retained, with the knob present as well. The canvas belt loop is very well-retained.
Approximate dimensions are 6.5" x 4" x 2". A great set of Japanese binoculars, ready for further research and display.
