Late World War Two Size 38 USN Aviator Flight Suit WN-1 with original tags offered in excellent condition.

The Bedford cord one-piece flying suit was very close in pattern to the leather Colvinex suit. Both were belted and had similar zipper arrangements as well as a fur pile collar. However, the Bedford cord type shown here was not internally heated. The stenciled "USN" is marked on the right shoulder of the suit in a somewhat unusual location. Only the front portion of the waist belt and buckle were exposed on this suit. The rest was concealed in the interior waistband of the suit. The Naval Air Factory nomenclature tag sewn to the lining of the same suit. Despite the fact that the collar is marked "USN", this example was actually manufactured by the Marine Corps Quartermaster Depot in Philadelphia. (J. Warner)

Suit is a size 40 an offered in very good to excellent condition.
