This is an excellent assembled group of six period-style U.S. military ration and field-use items of the types commonly associated with the personal equipment of an American G.I. during the WWII era. None of the items in this group are dated, however, and we cannot confirm that any individual piece was actually manufactured during the Second World War. They nevertheless correspond well with wartime-style ration and field equipment and make a convincing addition to a U.S. WWII display.

The lot includes:
- Sealed tin of Dubbing for shoes. Not maker-marked.
- Sealed tin with Pecan Roll by The Kroger Co of Cincinnati. Retains key on bottom.
- Sealed tin with Pound Cake packed by Otoe Food Products of Nebraska City. Retains key on bottom.
- B-1 Unit with crackers, cocoa, jam, by Boothe Fruit Company. Some staining and denting. Retains key on bottom.
- B-1 Unit with crackers, cocoa, jam, by Boothe Fruit Company. Some staining and denting with a darker finish. Retains key on bottom.
- B-2 Unit with crackers, candy, jam, by Boothe Fruit Company. Some heavy denting as shown. Retains key on bottom.

Taken together, the pound cake, pecan roll, B-1 and B-2 ration units, and shoe dubbing provide a representative grouping of the compact food and maintenance items associated with mid-20th-century U.S. military field use. While their exact wartime dating cannot presently be confirmed, the surviving manufacturer markings, sealed condition, opening keys, and period-style packaging make them useful study and display pieces for a U.S. G.I. ration or field-equipment collection.
