  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent assembled group of original U.S. WWII ration components of the types commonly associated with the field equipment and personal kit of American servicemen during the Second World War. The lot includes several scarce surviving food packages, including unopened examples, together with empty ration containers and packaging that would make useful additions to a WWII U.S. Army field display.

    The lot includes:
    - 3” ” Sealed tube of Malted Milk Tablets, 1 ounce. Beech-nut Packing.
    - Sealed pack of Soluble Coffee Product. Packed by McKay-Davis.
    - Small sealed JELLY tin by H.J. HEINZ CO., Heavy wear.
    - Empty can of Wilson Dehydrated Corn Beef Hash.
    - U.S. Army Field Ration K (without meat) Dinner Menu #4 box. Packed by Charms Co., empty.
    - Type I, Biscuit Bread ration in box, not sealed but contents are inside and in rough shape.

This group preserves a useful cross-section of the compact packaged foods issued to and carried by American servicemen during WWII. The combination of sealed malted milk tablets, soluble coffee, the Heinz jelly tin, dehydrated corned beef hash packaging, K-ration dinner box, and surviving biscuit ration provides a representative assortment of period field sustenance and makes the lot particularly useful for the study or display of U.S. Army rationing and individual field equipment.
