Original Item. Only One Available. Trench knives were utilized by most armies that fought during World War I. This is a near perfect example of an Austro-Hungarian trench knife with the complete scabbard and belt attachment, properly known as the Österreichisch-ungarisches Kampfmesser Modell 1917.
This is a phenomenal example of the standard model knife used by the KuK forces during World War I. There is a very faint maker’s mark on one side of the blade as shown. Hardwood grips are in good condition over a full width tang. Blade length of 8.25” and a full length of 14.25”. A hard to find example in complete condition.
