Original Item: The recoil spring of the Vickers gun is known as the fusee spring, and it located outside the receiver. It is protected with a long stamped cover, and many of these on guns on the market are dented or damaged, and in some cases, the damage to the cover can interfere with the operation of the mechanism. This replacement cover allows a Vickers to be returned to working order and dressed up. Some may be stamped DP but all are serviceable and are in good to very good condition.
