Original Item: While the vast majority of Vickers machine gun feed blocks were made of brass, a few were made of steel because of the improved wear characteristics. The manufacture of the steel blocks was discontinued, however, because of the greatly increased time to machine them. Consequently, all-steel blocks are hard to find today. IMA has found a few of these steel blocks. The blocks are in good to very good condition.
