Original Item: The R.F. Sedgley Company manufactured several different models of flare pistols for the government during WW2. All models exhibit beautiful design and workmanship. The Mk V was made for 10 gauge flares. This sample is dated 1944, and was originally marked USN on the hard ruber grip,but the the U and the N have been rubbed out, leaving S. Pistol, excellent. Holster, Fair. Flares not included.
