Original Item: The original Colt-manufactured Thompsons and the earliest of the Savage production M1928 models were equipped with an ejector milled out of a single piece of steel. This was quickly replaced by a three-piece ejector, because the milled version was much too expensive and time-consuming to manufacture.
IMA has a small number of these ejectors; most Thompson enthusiasts never have an opportunity to see one, much less own one.
