New Made Item: The best known of the U.S. WW2 Fighting Knifes was the M3 which was developed for paratroops and rangers. Closely resembling the M4, M1 carbine bayonet these also had a leather grip and were initially issued in the all leather M.6 Scabbard and later in the fiber M8 and M8A1 scabbards. One side of the steel cross guard was deliberately tilted forward as a thumb rest, the other cross guard arm bore the M3 designation and manufacturer?s marking. Here we offer a fine reproduction of this WW2 classic, complete with replicated markings, offered without scabbard (our M.6 leather Scabbard available separately).
