Item Description
Original Item: This is a very rare revolver. It has been in our possession for nearly a decade and we only began proper research within the past year. This is a .450 Boxer, 5.5" Barreled Colt Flat Top Revolver manufactured in 1888 and shipped to Colt's London Agency on December 17th of that year. The barrel bears the Colt London Pall Mall address. In all likelihood purchased by a British Officer before going overseas.
Research reveals that this particular revolver was part of a shipment of 10 weapons, however, from what we have discovered there is no other example of this model, caliber and barrel length known to be in existence!
The Revolver has hard rubber factory grips showing Leaping Horse and American Eagle, right side with small crack and a blued finish. The Serial Number is 128196. The original Colt Factory Authenticity Letter dated July 1st, 2010 is included with the revolver. Offered in very good working order with still a good quantity of stunning original finish.
