Original Item: This is actually more of a push-through button than a lever, but, anyway, the assembly consists of the button (lever) and its built-in two detent balls and spring, and an original cotter pin, known to the British as a split pin. This device controls the mode of firing, either automatic (A) or repetitive (R) (which is semiautomatic in American English).
