South African Defense Force P70 Shoulder Bag
Original Item: This bag, made of heavy-duty green canvas, is part of the Pattern 70 Equipment of the South African Defense Force. It was adapted from the British Pattern 1958, and its ancestors go all the way back to the British Pattern 1908 Equipment of WWI and the Pattern 1937 Equipment of WWII.
The bag features one main pocket, 9 x 7.5 x 4 inches (23 x 19 x 10 cm) and two side pockets, 6.25 x 3.5 x 2.25 inches (16 x 9 x 6 cm). A detachable shoulder strap is included. The side pockets are channel-mounted, allowing tools or other items to be inserted behind them. The external pockets are perfectly sized for gun magazines, grenades, or bottles of water, cans of soda, energy or breakfast bars, king-sized candy bars, and other necessary survival items.
