Original Item: One Only! Reputed to have been used in the Coronation Parade Celebrations; this is a marvelous piece of British SCOTS GUARDS Militaria History. This set is comprised of:

• Full Senior NCO (Junior Officer's) Bearskin, taller than the Other Ranks issue, but not as tall as the Commissioned Officer's version. Complete with whicker cage, leather headband and brass ringed leather backed chin scales. Note: By tradition the Scots Guards wore NO hackle on the Bearskin. In Battle order they were the FRONT-CENTER, with Grenadier Guards and Coldstream Guards on side and Welsh Guards and Irish Guards on other side. Each of the "Side Regiments" wore a colored horsehair hackle on the side of the helmet away from the center. The Scots in the middle wore none.

• Full Red Tunic with copious Gold gimp at neck, wrists, and rear flaps, similar to Officer's style. Gold trimmed Bandsman winged Epaulettes and Scots Guards gold and silver Embroidered "Thistle" emblem on either side of high collar. Tunic bears medal attachment loops, slight staining and slight moth damage. Wonderful rank badge on right sleeve. See photograph for detail.

• White Adjustable General Service leather belt with brass buckle showing Crown over Lion motif and motto: " Dieu et mon droit", (God is my right).

• Pair of "Coveralls" (Trousers) Officer's very tapered grade with leather strap and buckle at cutaway bottom hem for securing under the boot directly in front of the heel. This helps to keep Overalls skintight and dashing. (Very Officer like!)
