Item Description
Original Item: ONE ONLY, just released from a private collection! The Schwarzlose is one of the most recognizable machine guns of WW 1 because of the long conical flash hider. It should be included in any collection of WW 1 or WW 2 display guns, because it used a unique locking system (basically delayed blowback). The belt feeds in from the bottom of the gun. It was the standard machine gun of the Austro-Hungarian Army in WW 1 and was used extensively by German troops as a secondary machine gun during WW 2. The tripod is beautifully manufactured with much complex machine work, and has been cleaned for display. The gun includes a rare original belt and a shoulder stock for antiaircraft use. Additional accessories are available from IMA. email alex@ima-usa.com for more photos.
