Original Item: Original 3rd model India Pattern Brown Bess musket converted to percussion and reissued as the P-1839. Lock markings show the honorable East India Company rampant lion adopted in 1808. Complete with brass furniture and standard three ramrod pipes. Also included is the correct steel button head ramrod. This was the model that saw service throughout the Napoleonic Wars. This weapon was made extremely rare, because thousands were lost in the Great Fire of the Tower of London in 1841.
