Original Item: Only One Available. Almost certainly brought home to England by a British Soldier after the ZULU Campaign in South Africa in 1879. This fine knobkerrie war club measures 27" in overall length, the "ball" has a 3.5" diameter.
Made from a serious local hardwood this is very substantial which is the quickest way to differentiate the real thing from modern after-market tourist reproductions.
The ball is made as an integral part of the shaft and not added, giving the weapon added strength for combat and conforming to vintage traditional methods of manufacture.
