  • Original Item: Only One available. Carved from one piece of wood, the ball top is not a separate addition; this is a fine original Zulu War Club known as a Knobkerrie. These were used by the Zulu Warriors of Natal South Africa against the British Soldiers in the Zulu Campaign of 1879. As we know from the Movie "ZULU" the British suffered terribly fighting these ferocious native warriors.

This example is almost certainly a British soldier's bring back as a memento of the campaign, now considered one of the most romantic in British history. Measuring 31" overall with an integral ball measuring 3.5" across. A fearsome weapon, offered in great condition, ready to display next to your Martini-Henry Rifle!
