  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a set of two (2) rare late war pattern Japanese field telephones. The cases are made entirely of wood with a dark olive green paint finish, inside is a black composition handset with original cord. There are separate side compartments for the crank, an adjusting tool, and grounding stake.

One phone retains its carrying strap although it is in very salty stiff condition, while the other phone is missing the majority of the strap altogether Overall the telephone displays evidence of wear and use, with a few bumps and scuffs to the paint surface, no cracks in the wooden case. Inside the lid of the wood case on both phones is an original Japanese data plate. One phone retains the sponge on the interior to soften the phone and one is missing them. Both of the phone’s cords are frayed with some of the cable cover peeling off. We are not sure if either of the phones are functional.

A very nice pair of field phones that will fit perfectly in any WWII Japanese display!
