Original WWII Japanese Rifleman Waist Belt Set with Front Ammo Pouch & Type 38 Bayonet with Frog - Relic Condition

Original Item. Only One Set Available. This is a great and scarce relic Japanese equipment set consisting of a leather waist belt, a front ammunition pouch, and a Type 38 Arisaka Bayonet with leather frog. The items are in relic condition but will serve well as a representative set.
The items are in well-used condition, as expected with Japanese items which were used in the South Pacific. The belt is semi-pliable, but exhibits cracks and heavy wear to the leather. The ammunition pouch is in good shape with both securing straps still in place. The leather bayonet frog is very worn with the leather strap now dry-rotted and cracking.
The bayonet is by Matsushita. This was the 2nd most prolific private contractor for these bayonets. The wooden grips are now extremely rotted with heavy wear and loss of material. The pommel is stamped with serial 20535. The frog is bending and dry rotting at the belt loops and shows heavy wear overall.
This is a good representative set with some very rare items. Ready for further research and display.
