Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. Japanese Army Enlisted Mans Visor Cap has a body of light brown/green woven wool. There is only slight discoloration and wear. The top panel seam of the cap has red piping, matching the color of the red cap band.
Center of cap features a bronze star with lovely patina. The visor has a few bends and minor cracks in the leather. The chinstrap is in great condition and held in place by two bronze chrysanthemum styled buttons.
The interior is lined in black cloth (typically missing), with the cheesecloth reinforcement underneath. The black ersatz leather sweatband has some wear and a few tears but 95% complete.
Size is approximately 6 3/4 and in above average condition overall. It has a wonderful crush look to it which shows it was certainly used, brought back by a USMC veteran and acquired directly from his estate.
