Original WWII Italian Infantry Caporale Bustina Field Cap
Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. The "Bustina" field cap was originally introduced in 1933 and was worn by both Army and Fascist militia personnel, with minor variations.
This green grey coarse wool field cap features stitched up side panels. The front visor is in the upright position. To the front is an embroidered wire bullion on green background Italian Army cap insignia with crossed rifles for an Infantry Division. On the left side is a rank chevron denoting the rank of Caporale (Corporal). The entire cap has red piping.
The interior is fully lined cotton. Original size label still present denoting the size as 57cm (US 7).
