Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely officer’s Italian tropical uniform for a Maggiore serving with the supply as denoted by the color of the piping on his shoulder boards. The single star on each board denotes the rank of Maggiore or Major.
The jacket has two stars on the collar denoting that the wearer is not part of a specific regiment. There are no markings on the jacket we could find, but it retains all buttons and the shoulder boards are the slip-on variety but they appear to have been sewn-in as well. There is little damage across the jacket.
The included trousers are in great order and have multiple stamped ink markings on the interior, one of which appears to be a maker’s marking next to the date, 1943.
A great uniform set, ready for further research and display.
