  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic example of an Imperial Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces tunic for a Lieutenant. The tunic does exhibit signs of extensive wear and use, but is surprisingly offered without any damage and appears to be complete with all buttons!

The collar shows two stitched collar rank tabs which appear to be for the rank of Lieutenant. The interior of the tunic shows an original depot stamping, a good research project.

The Special Naval Landing Forces were naval infantry units of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and were a part of the IJN Land Forces. They saw extensive service in the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific theatre of World War II.

A great SNLF uniform, ready for display.
