Original WWII German Officer Black Leather Great Coat

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a classic example of a WWII German Officer’s black leather great coat with military features. It is nicely broken in, showing a good amount of period wear.The coat had a removable liner which would have attached using integral snaps which are still present with the interior. The coat is secured with a belt at the waist, secured with a GRUTOS brand buckle. The Coat has eyelets for where to secure buttons on the front, allowing the wearer to alternate between button styles if need be. Several of the leather braided buttons, that are currently the stye on the coat, are missing.
What is unique about this Coat are the military features which indicate this Coat was specifically made with a military officer as its intended wearer. For one, the coat has screw buttons secured on each shoulder to use with shoulder boards. Secondly, the coat has an internal hanger (and hole through the left pocket) from which to suspend a dagger or a sword. In addition, the snaps used on the coat are of the PRYM brand.
Offered in good original condition, this is an exceptional wartime coat showing signs of honest use and storage age.
