This gorgeous cap is in nearly mint unissued condition with absolutely no mothing, snags or tears. The front center of the cap features the machine embroidered national eagle in a gold colored thread as well as the national tri-colored cockade on a dark blue base both in wonderful condition. All insignia are original and do not react to black light. The interior lining of the cap is a royal blue rayon and cotton blend. It is ink stamped with size marking "55". German WW2 Navy overseas caps don't come in better condition than this!
