Original Item: Only One Available. We just received this very nice dagger out of a small private collection. It is a quite interesting letter opener, in the form of a miniature WWII German 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Naval Dagger complete with a "lightning bolt" style brass scabbard. It measures 7 3/8 inches long, with a 5 1/4 inch long nickel plated blade. This was probably purchased or given to a high ranking Kriegsmarine Officer, for use on their desk or elsewhere.
The letter opener is in very good condition, with the expected wear on the finish from age and use. The nickel plating on the blade is retained quite well, with some edge wear.
