Original WWII Era British Union Jack National Flag with Bullion Fringe - 60" x 94"

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice original British World War II Era Union Jack Flag, measuring approximately 60" X 94", approximately 5ft x 7.8ft. There are no markings on the flag, but it is definitely of very high quality. It is of multi piece rayon construction, so every color is a different piece, and it has a lovely bullion fringe around the outside, except on the header. There are small leather tabs on the hanging end, so we are pretty sure this was intended for display on a wall. The rayon synthetic silk weave is also relatively delicate, so this was not intended to fly outside.
It really is in great shape, with minimal age toning and no damage that we can see. This would make a great wall display item. WWII Flags were originally made of wool, but partial synthetic fabrics such as rayon rapidly became popular towards the end of the war.
