Original WWII Danish Madsen Display Light Machine Gun with Monopod and Magazine Pouch & Magazines

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Recently purchased from a private collection! This is a very nice example of a Danish Madsen Light Machine gun, produced by IMA years ago, and just purchased back. As with all our Madsens, BATF compliant non-firing Madsen Display LMG assembled onto re-welded non operational shortened receiver. These are constructed of 95% original parts (a couple pins and minor parts maybe post war manufactured, manufactured in Denmark and extensively used by Germany during WWII after the invasion of Scandinavia.

Complete with original issued bipod, wood butt stock, and detachable magazine our display gun still has an operational hammer and trigger assembly so weapon can be cocked using the charging lever and dry fired. It even comes with a very hard to find MONOPOD in its original leather carrier, which installs into the butt stock for sustained fire situations. Also included is a very nice leather Madsen magazine pouch, with 4 magazines inside. In 8mm (German) this became a very reliable weapon for the Third Reich in WWII.

This example is in very nice condition, with a solid butt stock, and a nice stove black finish. Intact magazine included where permissible, otherwise spring and followers will be removed. Ready to display!
