Original WWII Chinese National Revolutionary Army KMT Enlisted Cap with Rare Enameled Insignia - Kuomintang

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a rare example of an original enlisted cap used by Chinese National Revolutionary Army (國民革命軍) at the time of the Sino-Japanese war of 1937-1945. Often abbreviated as the NRA, the group was the military arm of the Kuomintang (KMT, or the Chinese Nationalist Party) from 1925 until 1947.
The cap is made from green fabric with no chinstrap. The cap has an extremely scarce enameled cap badge on the front showing a white sun on a blue background, the emblem of the National army. The badge has some light oxidation and paint loss, but is still in great shape overall, a very rare piece.
The cap is in good condition, with the expected wear and staining from service. The seam on the back of the cap is unfortunately splitting. There is no sweatband, and there are two Chinese characters on the interior crown, likely a size marking. The cap is roughly a Size 56.
