Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original British World War Two Small Union Jack Flag, measuring approximately 16" X 36", including the 1 3/4" header. The flag header is marked with 1 and UNION JACK, indicating the type of flag, and the size "1".
The flag does show wear and age toning, however there are no wear or moth holes. It is constructed of what we believe is wool, though it is a very coarse weave. This material went out of favor quickly after WWII as superior synthetics were available. The halyard is still present, with a loop at the top with an oval dowel inside and about 12" at the bottom, currently sewn into a loop.
Overall a nice flag from WWII offered in very good condition.
