Original Item: Well we got a very limited quantity of these from a recent Government Sale. These are British Issue cotton parachutes from WW2, each packed in it's own Canvas carrier with an assortment of faded print markings. Complete with roping, these were intended as "Cargo Parachutes" just like were used at Arnhem in "A Bridge Too Far".
This package makes a nice footrest or ottoman for your living room, or for the really adventurous draped in your gun room. After 60 odd years most definitely not intended for use!
