Original Items: Only Ones Available. This is a lot of eight pieces of Battlefield Pickup Relics Recovered from the area around Bastogne, Belgium in 1995. The items were procured by an amateur historian while accompanying a veteran’s organization on a tour of the battlefield. We purchased the items directly from this individual.
The lot consists of the following items:
- M-42 Pattern German helmet with Liner and Partial Chinstrap.
- M31 German Messkit Bottom which still retains its original bail and paint remnants.
- M31 German Messkit Top, with remnants of Feldgrau Paint. Marked “WAL 39”
- M39 Egg Grenade Body
- M24 Stick Grenade Collar
- M24 Stick Grenade Handle Cap
- Flare Gun Cartridge Casing
- Backpack Buckle
- 3 ¾” Long Piece of Artillery Shrapnel
All of the ordnance in this set has been demilitarized according to specifications by the BATF, and makes this set not available for export.
