Original WWII 1944 Dated U.S. Navy Gun 3-inch Wooden Drill Round

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic totally inert, wood construction, drill round for the USN 3 in./50 calibers QF gun that weighs 23 lbs 8 oz. (10.7 Kg), and measures 34 3/4” (88.3 cm) in length.
The round is in excellent condition and is weighted to match a live shell for accurate training handling purposes. The zinc plated steel base still has clear markings: 3" DUMMY CARTRIDGE MK 6 50 CAL and HMC 1944 329486-B-6-BFT (with USN Anchor). The wood condition is excellent, and the inert nose detonator still unscrews completely.
This is an excellent piece of World War II artillery and naval memorabilia which will make a very impressive display!
