Original Item: Only One Available. This is a hand cranked sound simulator firing blank .22 short rounds to simulate maxim machine gun fire from the Great War. Offered in excellent working condition with carry handle and large trumpet from which the noise resonates. Serial numbered 627 over manufacturer’s logo (circle FW). SAFE and FIRE (S, F) lever alongside the rotary hand crank handle. We are not sure of the country of manufacture but our best guess is German or Austro-Hungarian. A very rare accessory worthy of research, 100 round belt full of spent cases included.
