Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original French World War One Tricolor National flag measuring approximately 18" X 27". The flag looks to be made of a very openly woven wool or cotton, and is each color is a different piece of fabric (the red is two), sewn together with a white header. It looks like originally this flag was attached to something with 6 tacks or rivets, which are now missing.
Condition is very good, especially considering the age, with minimal tearing and the colors retained well. There is some age toning and staining, but that is to be expected of a flag that saw service.
