Original WWI Ersatz Bayonet made using British Type P-1853 Blade and Carter Type EB47 Hilt
Original Item: Only One Available. These bayonets are generally believed to have been manufactured in Belgium during WWI, and then sold to CHINA. Please see See Watts and White THE BAYONET BOOK pages 49 and 50. The bayonet features a two piece stamped Carter Type EB 47 steel hilt mounted to 16 1/2 inch British type P-1853 triangular socket bayonet blade. The bayonet measures 21 1/2 inches overall length and features a full muzzle ring.
