Original Items: Only One Set Available. British Military Aviation started in WW1 as the ROYAL FLYING CORP but the title was changed in early 1918 to the ROYAL AIR FORCE (R.A.F.) the name it still carries today.
This is a pair of silver plated fretted officer's napkin rings each displaying a RAF wings and Kings Crown color enamel cypher of the Royal Air Force in red and blue with Kings Crown. Each Napkin Ring bears the initials "J.R." for the officer who owned them.
In need of a good polishing these are really very attractive and unusual.
