Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of a German Flare Gun made in 1973 by Geco. This model was the standard issue flare gun of the West German army. Designed to fire European military 26.5mm flares, these military issue flare guns are made to withstand not only combat conditions but also the recoil from this larger flare. The action of this example still works very well.
This example is marked on the side: BMI 27426 04/64. This indicates a manufacture date of April 1964. The other side is marked 26.5mm SIGP. M/61 GECO.
This example comes with its original carrying case/holster which still retains its cleaning rod and tools. The carrying strap is also intact. The pouch has a stamp with crossed swords and is dated 1982.
A great West German flare pistol set, ready for further research and display.
