  • Original Item: Only One Available. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF guidelines with hollow body and inert fuse. This grenade cannot be converted to an explosive device and is not available for export.

The DM41 or DM41A1 is a West German copy of the M26A1 hand grenade, manufactured by Diehl Defence of Nuremberg. Production ended around 1975 when the DM51 explosive fragmentation hand grenade was adopted by the Bundeswehr.

This is a very scarce inert example of the DM41, which is marked on the body with 8D (SYMBOL) 83. The fuze is entirely correct for the DM41 and still unscrews, even retaining the rubber washer. The spoon and pull ring are intact, but are a bit oxidized.

A very lovely example of a scarce West German grenade. Comes ready for further research and display.
