Original Item: Camouflage print steel helmet covers for the Soviet WW2 style, steel combat helmet of the cold war years. Quality construction with steel edge clips used for attaching to helmet, a tightening string and a "pocketed band" around the whole helmet to add foliage for additional concealment. Cover only, helmet not included. Cover only, helmet sold separately (Item# RR1020).
Note- these are identical to Swiss Issue helmet covers. IMA purchased these Helmets and Covers ex Mozambique (a nice "Stalinist" African State). The cover came with the helmets. Assumed to be supplied by the Warsaw Pact countries, most likely Czechoslovakia, but might very well have be supplied by the Swiss direct to Mozambique.
