  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a stellar Vietnam War NVA/VC issue grenade with the head being a pineapple style. The shaft is attached to the head and the bottom cap of the grenade is still present, which is rare. These are becoming increasingly more difficult to find. This example comes in a very scarce 1970-dated carrier. Like all deactivated ordnance, this grenade is Not Available for Export.

A standard of the Vietnam War, this is the typical pattern of NVA / VC short-handle "pineapple" body stick fragmentation grenade. The grenade is in fine to excellent condition, with both the body and stick very clean. The stick retains the wooden plug, which is often lost. The grenade measures 8¼” in length, one of the largest examples we have offered.

The carrier bag has slots for two grenades and is clearly marked on the back with an arsenal stamp, with a very clear date of 1970.

This is a scarce example, one of the first we have offered in its original carrier! Comes ready for further research and display.
