Original Vietnam War “Front Unifié pour la Libération des Races Opprimées” (FULRO) Montagnard flag (Unified Front for the Liberation of Oppressed Races) - 40” x 24 ½”

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very rare Montagnard Flag from the Vietnam War. This is an indigenously made flag, brought back from the Vietnam War by a U.S Serviceman. The flag measures 40” x 24 ½” and is in incredible condition.

The United Front for the Liberation of Oppressed Races (French: Front uni de lutte des races opprimées, abbreviated FULRO) waged a nearly three decade long insurgency against the governments of North and South Vietnam, and later the unified Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The FULRO insurgents represented the interests of minority Muslim and Hindu Cham, Christian Montagnards, and Buddhist Khmer Krom against the ethnic Kinh Vietnamese. They were supported and equipped by China and Cambodia according to those countries' interests in the Indochina Wars.

A seldom found military antique from a very obscure conflict of the 20th century! Ready for display!
