Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great Victorian Era (1837-1901) copy of a twisted handle mace, produced by a Blacksmith for early re-enacting or official displays. The mace measures 46” long when it is fully extended, but the rigid handle itself only measures 30¼” long.
The pieces are hand-cast, and the head of the mace has a large spike on a multi-sided body, connected in a chain link fashion to three lemniscate-shaped chains in ascending size. There is surface oxidation on several parts, as this likely sat dormant for several decades.
A great display piece, ready to hang from its pommel ring and display!
