Original Item: Only One Pair Available. This is an incredible unissued pair of WWII German Military Issue Athletic Running Shoes (Laufschuhe) in absolutely stunning condition and beautifully marked.
The German Military issued each soldier with a set of athletic sport clothing, each with the branch insignia sewn onto the shirt. The shirts and shorts are often encountered, but the shoes are incredibly rare, as they generally were simply disposed of. When not in use, the German soldier placed the sport clothing in their Bekleidungssack (Garment bag), along with other items which was held in the company area. Each German paramilitary organization followed this practice as well.
These particular shoes are in unbelievable condition, absolutely textbook specimens! They are marked with matching RBN numbers, maker marked in ink on the sole of each with maker stamp, and dated 1943. Size is marked as 46. Please note they are stuffed with bubble wrap for photography purposes only.
A must have item for the collector of WWII German militaria!
