Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of three artifacts from three very famous WWII events, in riker cases with certificates of authenticity on the back of each riker case. All three items came from the Gettysburg Museum of History.
The items include:
- Very tiny bottle of wood (sawdust) from the wood deck of the USS Arizona which sank at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Bottle is roughly ¾” tall. Case is 4 ½ x 5 ½ x ¾”.
- .30 Machine gun shell casing from the Brecourt Manor Assault made by Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, on June 6th, 1944. Heavily oxidized with material missing at the throat. Case is 3 ½ x 5 ½ x ¾”.
- Bottle of Black Volcanic Sand and a small metal relic fragment recovered at Iwo Jima. The background material for each relic is authentic WWII Marine camouflage from WWII. Bottle is roughly 1 ¼” tall and is not full. Case is 8 ½ x 12 x ¾”.
