Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great WWII Marine Private First Class’s uniform to a marine in the V Amphibious Corps with a scare early variation white diamond discharge patch on the right shoulder.
The jacket has a V Amphibious Corps patch on the left shoulder, PFC patch on the left sleeve, and EGA collar insignia. The right shoulder has a great rectangular patch with a white discharge diamond. There is a five-place ribbon bar over the left breast pocket with the Navy Unit Commendation, the Navy Presidential Unit Citation with star, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Campaign medal with 3 campaign stars, and the WWII Victory medal. Below this is a Marksman badge.
The jacket has a 1942-1943 USMC Quartermaster stamp in the left sleeve. There is a name on the back of the belt, E. O. HUPPS, a good research project.
Also included is the marine’s shirt and tie, as well as his garrison cap with an EGA insignia. There is a worn-out tag still inside.
A great uniform set with a scarce discharge diamond, ready for display!
