Original Item: Only One Available. Very good condition Size 40-42" WW2 USMC US Marine Corps P44 USMC Combat Field Utility Jacket in Olive Drab Herringbone Twill. It does not have a size marking. The P44 Jacket was the second Utility Jacket the Marine Corps patterned during WW2, and replaced the earlier P41 Utility Jacket. The P41 had three sewn on flapless pockets, while the P44 has a flap over the breast pocket where the EGA is. The waist pockets were replaced with two large slit pockets that cover the entire chest area, where life preservers can be inserted. The front of the P44 also has inner and outer closure buttons for a more secure fastening, required if used as a life preserver.
