Original Items: Only One Set Available. The United States Military in World War II had a distinct advantage over the Axis when it came to equipment. Both in terms of quality and quantity the power of American industry kept the GI’s well supplied. The Marine Corps had their own issued equipment with a lot of crossover between branches.
This USMC WWII M1936 pistol belt rig comes equipped and ready to display. The items include:
- M1936 Army Belt, heavily worn with several laundry numbers stamped on and fraying.
- M1910 First Aid Pouch with Carlisle Bandage. Pouch is dated 2-1918 by the Miller Hexler Co.
- USMC Early Blade-Marked Mark 2 KA-BAR Fighting Knife by CAMILLUS in leather sheath. Grip has been worn down considerably near the crossguard which is now loose. Very heavy wear overall with finish loss to blade. Sheath is in good order with fragile but functional securing snap.
- P-41 Suspenders, rare, some faint markings but good shape overall.
- WWI M1910 Canteen painted blue in 3rd Pattern USMC Carrier. The carrier is the 3rd pattern meaning it has the bunny rabbit ears but no hole in the bottom.
- WWII M1942 canteen and cup in 4th Pattern USMC Carrier. The carrier is the 4th pattern meaning it has the bunny rabbit ears and a hole in the bottom.
A very interesting USMC belt rig, ready for display.
