This is a very nice original U.S. WWII Marine Corps M1923 cartridge belt rig, assembled with a strong selection of period field equipment including P-41 suspenders, a first aid pouch with sealed Carlisle dressing, and an M1942 canteen carried in a correct 3rd Pattern USMC “rabbit ear” cover.
This USMC WWII M1923 cartridge belt rig comes equipped and ready to display. The items include:
- M1923 Cartridge belt stamped US by H.S. Co., dated 1942.
- First Aid Pouch by BEARSE MFG. CO. dated 1942 with Sealed Carlisle Bandage inside.
- P-41 USMC Suspenders, heavy wear with 452 inscribed. Great set.
- WWII M1942 canteen in 3rd Pattern USMC Carrier. The carrier is the 3rd pattern meaning it has the bunny rabbit ears and no hole in the bottom. Canteen is marked A.P. Co..
